All of our Multi-Week Training Programs
span the spring and summer of 2012 and meet twice per week on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings to prepare athletes for the mid-summer triathlon season.

Our programs offer the following key components:

  • Triathlon basics – transitions, gear, race day preparation and strategy
  • Full training plan that maps out what your workouts are each week
  • Open water swim coaching
  • Cycling workshops
  • Running skills
  • Nutrition
  • Injury prevention

The program offerings for 2012 are as follows:

SPRINT PLUS
Fee: $399 (does not include race fee)
13 weeks of total training = 10 week training program + 3 week build up

Ideal for:   If you feel that your fitness level is a bit iffy, this program will be just what you need to get a jump start on your training.  Over 13 weeks, you will train at a gradual level in order to prepare for a mid-July local sprint distance triathlon.   Sprint Plus is the best choice for anyone who is interested in dipping their toe into the world of triathlons, but might be closer to square one than they’d like.

Training dates: April 18-Race day
Goal Race: Amica 19.7 Ocean Beach, July 15, 2012

SPRINT
Fee: $299 (does not include race fee)
10 week training program

Ideal for:  Anyone who has run a 5k in the past year or is a “2-3 time-a-week gym goer,” but is looking for something to mix up his or her routine.

Training dates: May 9-Race day
Goal Race:   Amica 19.7 Ocean Beach, July 15, 2012

OLYMPIC
Fee: $399 (does not include race fee)
12 week training program, 10 weeks of group workouts

Ideal for:   Anyone who has done  2-3 sprint triathlons within the last two years and is ready to take their training to another level.  We’ll help you intelligently increase your training to get you fully prepared for the longer distances.  Participants will receive a 12 week training program and access to 10 weeks of group training that will finish with race day on June 24th.

Training dates: April 18-Race day
Goal Race:  Litchfield Hills Olympic Triathlon, June 24, 2012

DROP-IN SESSIONS
Fee
: $25 per single session, $100 for 5 sessions, $180 for 10 sessions
New for this year, we are offering the opportunity to purchase single or multiple drop-in sessions to any workout we offer. Click here to review our calendar for specific dates, workout types and locations.

Ideal for:  Anyone who has trained with us in the past.  Anyone who hasn’t trained with us in the past.  Frankly, anyone.  If you are looking for the occasiional group workout, a well-planned, safe group bike ride or want to get non-race, open-water swim practices, this is the best option for you.  There will be 25 available drop-in sessions during the training program from April 18-July 11.

GOAL RACES
This year we thrilled to participate as a team in two very exciting and well-run local races produced by the Hartford Marathon Foundation.

Indoor Triathlon Events
We are experts at organizing, promoting and conducting off-season, indoor triathlons.  These events are an excellent addition to an exercise facilities’ current programming offering several benefits:

Private, One Day & Corporate Program
We offer fully customized triathlon training programs that can fit your specific athletic needs, schedules and training goals.

We can craft a 3-hour “Triathlon 101” class or a 3-week “tune-up” program.  Let us know your needs and we can devise a regimen just for you.

REFUND POLICY
TRAINING PROGRAMS
We will refund your money at any time for any reason upon written request.  Our policy is to pro-rate your training program minus a 10% administrative fee. You may also transfer your registration to another TTNE program with coach approval.

DROP-IN SESSIONS AND PUNCH CARDS
Single or multiple drop-in sessions are NON-REFUNDABLE.  However, they are transferrable with written advance notice and have no expiration date.
